free travel mod

ok ive been reading and reading and cant seem to find out what the free travel mod consists of and what its pros are.. lol prob a dumb question but i would like to know

It's about the rear bumpstop bracket and its removal...it's totally free...

Pretty easy to do with a sawzall & a grinder. Just need to be careful of the gas tank on the driver side. Gives you lots more clearance & is needed with drops over 3" or so...

ahhhh damn im an idiot haha! ive read about it several times but either one was talking about "the free travel mod" or another was talkin about "removing bumpstops".. i never put 2 and 2 together

Well Ghost the free travel mod is removing bumpstop brackets, not just bumpstops.

make sure you sand it down and put some paint on it after you cut it so it doesnt rust around there
