Luckily my gf doesn't do this. She knows it's bad, and the fuel cools the fuel pump--preventing it from burning out.

and I, too, cannot stand when people set stuff against one of my vehicles unless it's the Saturn. I just don't know what goes through people's heads at that point :whymewhyme: It's just having respect for your stuff and others.
Some people are just stupid!

Think maybe you can post a write-up for that?

Lol ...Wanting to shake the hornets nest?

I’m not sure I’m well qualified for that task.

I know that there are others herein that might have a longer time frame in holy matrimony from which to draw forth and pontificate.

Having said all that... keeping my mouth shut would be best advised. Lol

So I had to come share this. I took my wife out to dinner tonight. I notice on the way back that my transmission temp is about 20 degrees higher than usual. I didn't say a word. No fight ensued.

You've truly inspired me and who knows how many countless men out there. Well done, sir.

Good work. Now figure out what's wrong with your trans and convince her you need to spend money on it. Start basic. It's clearly a "safety" issue.

Well, I should clarify. I almost mentioned to her that the trans temp was up because she was in the vehicle. Hence my being proud of myself for keeping my mouth shut. ;)

I did walk away this morning early when my wife couldn’t find her rings.

She took them off to make these awesome turkey meatballs last night and forgot where she “hid” them.

Thankfully she found them, I didn’t make a smart ass remark lol and headed out the door to lacrosse practice.

One small step.... this morning. Lol

Hi should keep the rims chrome on the Burb imo

Not changing, but I did want to see what it looked like since it was off.

Wife is adamant she wants to sit up high in the Suburban and not interested in entertaining the idea of lowering it at all. Grrr lol. That’s ok. Not really but she loves that truck so I’m cool with keeping it clean and making subtle updates.

Maybe 22s in a new style in chrome at the tire change. Since there is a fair amount of chrome with the LTZ and not going to color match. Still original Bridgestones at 32k now, and a little bit to go.

Also sent it to my buddy who has a 2018 Suburban in black. He’s too busy and not really into the mods.

He wants 22” chrome snowflakes on Michelin’s though pretty bad. He’s close to pulling the trigger so I figured I would stir the pot with that pic. Lol

Baby steps but I know he is interested in blacking out his bow ties and I might get him to debadge too.

Two words...... air bags... lol

Hey I would be happy down low like you even on 20s. That stance works.

Even just to bring the rear gap down a touch would be ok too without getting all crazy.

Wish list item at this point, but not losing sight. Should have bought Droks lowering kit when he sold it before lifting but I missed it.

I'll invite a friend over on the weekend to do some maintenance or a quick fix on their ride, then sneak in a debadge and maybe a led interior swap, just enough to start a fire that grows quickly into a modding blaze!:signs6:

@05Single

Going to his house tonight so am going to take some paint and show him how to remove the bow ties and debadge.

Heck I’ll even offer to take the bow ties home and do it for him just to get rid of the gold bow ties. :D

Took the kids down to the beach for sunset and to see the full moon last night.

Didn’t get to pull my friends bow ties for paint but I will. Lol

We tossed the football, landed a kite in the surf (windy 15-25mph) and took the kids for food and ice cream by the fire pits at one of the local beach hotels.

And just a pic of the Suburbans in the beachside green car park just down from our houses.

Was pretty interesting to see last night, trucks look good too.

Yeah it was nice. We missed the blood/eclipse part but the kids had a good time. The 3 year old starting melting down around 2000 so that was cutoff time. Lol

He did good though. What a tornado he is!!
