@Bigbeardenali1992

Lol a little warm for snow today. And 80s to come this week.

Snuck in a very quick wash of the burb and got in trouble. Oops!!

Blamed it on the tar on the rockers and the sand on the floor mats.

Carve some snow for me. Be safe out there.

Nice, have fun foss, have a cold one fer us up here in the cold north

Only a couple last night. Got up at 0430 to make the drive this morning. Time travelled 1.5 hrs! Only a few cars on the road and it was quite peaceful. Hope to be back down there in a few days before they all leave.

@Tonyrodz
Wow, you guys look prepared! There's gonna be alot of interesting accents going on over there! Aren't you guys originally from Australia?

I'm from Arizona, but yes my wife is from Sydney. Her accent is rather soft so to speak. Not the rough accent you may hear on TV.

@HiHoeSilver
Where's the Illinois aunt live?

My aunt is from Mt. Prospect. And further to the Illinois story. My parents were born and raised in Waukegan. My mom and I were born in the same hospital there. We moved away from Illinois when I was 2 and have never been back.

I then lived outside of Seattle for many years as a kid before grunge, Starbucks and Microsoft became the names we know today.

That pic I posted of some of our old square bodies is from one of our old houses.

No I’m working. Hope to be back down there in a few days.

My brothers are rigging the poles to take the boat out today or tomorrow with the kids and see what they can catch. Perfect weather for the next week. 80/70.

Got some set ups for bottom fishing inshore and trolling outside the reef as well.

Waiting for updates. :)

Wife drove the Burb fully loaded with supplies, kids and dogs ahead befor I finished work.

It is going to need a full detail after this weekend.

I was going to drive the 06 down, but opted for the work 19 Suburban to bring back people and supplies as we had a house full at 13 people, 2 dogs and our bearded dragon.

There is a lot left and typical kids, crap everywhere. Lol

Burb is the road trip machine. The cooled seats and RES for the kids are money. That long body is a winner on all fronts. Love it!

I'll just vent my anger in my build thread about the door ding that removed paint on my passenger rear door this morning.

Thankfully the wife let me rant. I'm better, but still pissed so I came into TYF to lay it down because nobody else understands these little things will set you off.

I topped up her tank with 89 as the light was on. Why must women run the tank to the minimum? The truck does not like to fuel up when it runs so low. Then I get home to see something leaned up against the Tahoe. It was a lacrosse stick for practice that another mom put there so it was out of sight, as her daughter was coming home with us today.

The wife almost got the rant again, by saying to me, "People don't think like you do." I brought the groceries in, muttering to myself with some @#$% words, hugged her and went to work. I actually kept my mouth shut wisely. lol

Thx for listening. Back to your regularly scheduled truck projects. At least it is 75F and clear today. Maybe I'll wash the trucks after practice, just because...

:lol:

and I, too, cannot stand when people set stuff against one of my vehicles unless it's the Saturn. I just don't know what goes through people's heads at that point :whymewhyme: It's just having respect for your stuff and others.
