I have a 1999/2000 Escalade which I added a 14" electric fan on the condenser. The fan over hangs about 1" inch. My question is there a negative effect if I add a 16" fan? I know it will overlap about 3" but will it cause any problems? I see the 16" models push about another 1000cfm which is huge. IMO.

Is there anyway to cut out the hood latch support with and maybe do something else with it? Maybe support it another way?

I have 2 efans (one in front of condenser and one behind radiator) and I have to say even while towing in 100+ degree weather they've kept my temps rock solid. they are completely worth the noise...
