Yeah those are the gatlins. For the lights no those are the ones I have right now on my tahoe, not my project ones. Those are the black ones I posted.

I thought about doing the lights in the shroud but still deciding.

Do you mean painting the (back half of the shroud) the part after the ------ below that.

Either way, might look cool. Ive seen some cool ones painted, and lighted up like you want to do, behind the shroud, What color would you paint them? you say color match, to the truck? im guessing. Dont remember what lights you have.

Exact same lights i have robert. Why you taken them apart? To change to ccfl? Dont remember if you said or not.

Going to try to bake my lights this weekend.

Yes, going to replace them, and also to get better fitment of the projectors in them. Since the glass part of the light is tinted im going to piant the inside black.

Well tonite, real quick, just baked some factory lights i had, talk about easy, it basically fell apart after baking. But went to put in the mini's, went in alright for the low beam area, the gatlin shroud is a tight fit, the high beam side, is another story, honestly dont think it will fit, think it will hit the lens when i put it back together.

Before that though, the hole on the high beam side is smaller than the low beam, any one have any ideas how to trim it bigger. Dremel it maybe, or get a big drill bit so its a circle hole for the mini? I have pics, but on phone, i'll see if i can post em up. Otherwise, its actually pretty easy so far. Just a few things i need to figure out, all the mounts plates i got for one. Denali ak - do you know what order they go in?

yeah i have the minis, its not the shrouds the projectors may not fit, i have to drill the hole on the high beam more, so the mini does fit. The shroud fits just fine when i place it in there.

For cutting em up, im using some stock headlights right now that i took apart to mock up and such so i dont mess up my new headlights. But put them in last nite just to see and man, so much better already w/ only one and about a foot from the garage. The hard thing might be trying to get halos in the tight spot

just saying lol
i wish i knew where to get started i want some projectors too lol

That would make it to easy. lol. Its not hard to add halos to lights. Im looking for led halos. I want em bright like the bmw's have that i have seen. Not the halogen ones.

The shroud fits in there fine, little tight, but firm, not bending or pushing it or nothing, goes in. Going to try to work on the high beam area this weekend, since we have a 3 day weekend. Got to many projects at once time right now. lol... eh. keeps me out of trouble i guess.

Alright, just wonderd if any of you guys have pictures or seen a tahoe 01 -06 w/ a quad setup. Got the low beams in just fine, the high beam is a diff. story. The depth isnt enough. The projector sticks out so i can close the lense on it. Needs about another 1inch or two. Might end up cutting it, but then im not sure how to use the screw type connector, the big plus w/ the mini.

Any ideas?

Well did some work today on the lights. I will say this, you can not just put the mini's or any projector into the HIGH beam side w/o modding it. Cutting the mess out of it. Lense wont go back on.

But here are some pics of so far.
Only problem im having now is the mini is bi-xenon and has a little box for the switch that is a little bigger than the opening so its hitting the bottom of the headlight bucket. THis is making the light not go in straight. Its tilted upwards. Trying to figure it out though.

Pix got deleted and cant find

What you guys think. Any ideas on how to get the light even and not tilted upwards.

Did I miss pics of them in the low side?

Ahh I now see the one above. Got any more showing how they secure?

Not sure if i did post pics of them in the low side, maybe in the begining. Not sure if i did w/ both in yet either.

Well w/ the mini projectors they are designed to go right through the hole for the headlight bulb. They go right in, no mods needed. FOR THE LOW BEAM only. I must say. Just take lense apart from headlight, put in mini put lense back on done. I'd be done already if thats all i wanted. Mini has a screw type end on it, so where you put the bulb, imagine screwing a washer on for instance. Its tight and its not moving. I'll try to get some pics of it for you.

The high beam isnt deep enough for that easy to do w/ the mini.

(just a fyi, for those thinking of paying someone, i emailed a place and said i had all parts, easy to do, just basically needed the high beam side done, quoted $800 bucks, and i have the parts. WTF.. Guess he has some super rare, expensive sealer for the light and cutting tools. Guess im paying for his electricity bill also. )

its been a little while huh. Sorry about that.

Well ive been real busy w/ school and trying to be a nice guy and help others out, so havent had much time to do much else. Except did realize that the lights i am going to use, the back is different than the stock headlight (the one im using for intial trial, so i dont mess up new one) Going to try to get on it, in two weeks or this weekend though. Really want to get them in. About to just drill right on into the new ones and see how it goes. Just the high beam is the one needing cutting,

but will try to keep this updated, just bring it up if your interested, i may forget. lol.
