Does this look like a rebuilt transfer case?

This guy on craigs has this transfer case for sale. He says its remanufactured he bought for a project but never used it. Mine is shot. Mines a 99 2dr manual shift. Does the tag in the picture mean its been rebuilt?

Tag means nothing. most come with one. not sure if you can go to a manual shift without changing the selector shaft.

that is a manufacturer tag. it should always be there. can't tell from those pics if it has actually been worked on internally tho.
