So, I think I read somewhere that to make the DL3 mirrors work you’ll also have to have the window switch and the passenger side window switch as well. I already had a window switch that has the power folding mirror function on it, I recently picked up a set of DL3 mirrors from an Avalanche. After (paint), correcting these and installing them, and the switch, nothing worked. Only the driver side window went down. Nothing else worked. So now I’m wondering does this now going to have to go and have the BCM programmed? Just swapping over all of the pieces from a vehicle with the mirrors already installed won’t work. I would love some input from anybody who already made this install and everything is working as it should.

I would think that the modules would have to be programmed for it to work.

If yours were mine, I'd use the wiring diagrams to see if you have the wiring already on board for this swap. Then, I might find a way to test the used components to see if they even work.

Confirmed. You definitely need the window switch both driver and passenger for the passenger switch. It's plug and play.
