(2013 Chevy Avalanche Black Diamond LT)

Hi I'm new to the forums I'm not sure if this has been discussed before but I just replaced my stock mirrors with 2014 Yukon Denali power folding mirrors my original ones were the stock non power folding. I replaced the door panel switch on both driver and passenger door but I didn't do any harness change. The turn signals work and all other functions also work just not the switch to fold in the mirrors so I'm wondering if I do have to change out the door harness or if it's a body control module issue since mines didn't come stock with the features. My second question is how do I change my headlights while I'm in drive? My headlights have a auto on setting whenever I switch out of park during nighttime but I would like to turn them in while I'm in drive thrus or certain events. Is there a way I can change this through the infotainment center or fuse box?

Welcome to the Forum from NH.

Pics of the truck, please.

I believe that programming is required to get the folding feature operational, and that is assuming that GM used a single wiring harness for the mirrors, folding or not. For programming by you, you will need a quality bi-directional scanner, a PC, a connector adapter to connect your bi-directional scanner to your PC, and a subscription to GM's programming content site.
