Hi guys. First off, I know I'm a noob here.....long time reader first time poster. lol Anyway, I've got a question about my courtesy lights that I hope someone can help me figure out. I had an '07 'Hoe but traded it recently for an '08 Silverado quad cab LTZ and I'm having courtesy light demons.

For some odd reason my courtesy (dome) lights will not come on when I open either door on the driver side. They work perfectly when you open either passenger side door or turn them on manually with either the individual switches or the spin knob on the dash. And no, I don't have the dome override pushed. Checked all the obvious fuses, no luck. Can't find any kind of plunger-style switch inside the door jambs that might have malfunctioned. Nothing. Has anyone had this problem before, and is there anything I can do?

Thanks in advance!!!! :worship:

You probably have a broken switch along the door jamb, body side. It may be sticking in so it doesn't know the door is open. Jst my guess. Check the switches and calm down.
