Simple one here, how should i go about cleaning up surface rust under the carpet especially around the seams (i guess it's panel glue?) I've put a lot into this truck and i'd like to keep the body from rusting out.

If the sealant is holding I don't think there would be a considerable amount of rust underneath to worry about. Your rust is just probably going just right up to it. If the Sealant is bonded to the panel still should really be no rust underneath.

excellent, I'll know more when i get to pull the carpet in a few weeks, but it seemed limited to the driver side so that's a good thing at least
