Any issues with changing oil brands? I normally buy mobil 1 but it's not on sale, however castrol syntec is and I purchased 5Qts with a K&N filter for $26.99.

I figured since it's still synthetic there should be no problem with switching brands. Hell no dealership uses the same brand oil all the time anyways. Am I off on this one?

I doubt I have ever used the same brand twice in a row. I'm all about the sale baby!

The Hoe has 233k miles on the orig eng and tran so I would say it hasn't done harm.

no problem,

altho you "shouldnt" mix oils
but even mixed oil is better than very low oil

I run Shell Rotella T synthetic in my Tahoe
and my 600hp GTO
and my 160hp bike

I get it at Walmart for about $19/gallon
