Is it worth getting a carfax on your car. I was doing a search on my vin number and carfax popped up and said there were 67 references or issues could they be like oil changes or something simple for that many numbers. I have a 99 Tahoe .

Both, but it will also tell you who did the work and you can contact them and get the service records via email in pdf form usually or they'll tell you over the phone what was REALLY done. Major repairs are usually caged in terms like "replaced fuel system" or "transmission checked". That is of course, if they still have them on file still.
