Hello,

So I recently replaced the passenger rear exterior door handle on my 2007 Yukon Denali. I have replaced at least 3 of my exterior door handles over the past several years and have never had a problem. However, this time the door operated fine for a few days but now it won't open from the inside or outside. Is there a way to remove the door panel with the door closed? I would really appreciate any help or ideas.

What I think happened is when I replaced the door handle and clipped the door lock rod back into place it weakened the clip, and I think that yellow clip that holds the threads of the rod has now opened which is preventing me from opening the door. Any help would be much appreciated!

Thank you!

Dont think so.... pull the lock button off the door panel and then grab rod and try to unlock it that way.
