i bought a auto page alarm with remote start but shops tell me i need a by pass module some tell me i dont... can some one tell if i need a bypass module for a 99 4 door tahoe or not.... and if i do which one do i need. any help would be appricated

yes you do...i use idatalink modules and that number would be ADS_AL_CA......you can use expresskit alos which would be GMDLBP.....those are the ones I use i also have them in stock if you wanna buy one......Or you can pick one up at your local electronics store will prolly be lil more then i would get it to you though but thats up to you...good luck...

yea sorry i did mean to put the ADS-TB sorry and yes i have one for that truck if you need it you do have to have a programmer to make these units work though so take that into consideration also

if you know what your doin then no they are easy if you dont know what you are doin then they can be harder...But if you get the right wiring diagrams and pay attention to the wiring then you can prolly figure it out if your smarter then the average bear..LOL...
