hi folks,
I'm sure deep inside some thread there would already be an answer to my question, but I was not able to find it...

I am looking for a OBD2 Scanner for my 2003 Tahoe that can scan the engine control module, transfer case module, transfer module, body control module, airbag module, SRS, etc. Is there anything in the price range of up to $200 max?
I know there is plenty for $500+, but with all the China stuff flooding the market I can't really tell which one actually works with all the modules and which doesn't.
Bluetooth scanners are fine too, but they'd need an iOS app.

Any help is highly appreciated!

Have to pay to play. I have an Autel scanner and that’s probably the least expensive out there that will scan all modules and control them.

If there is something cheaper I’d be surprised.

Interested as well.

My top scan by top don $50 dongle will do most of that. I dont have anything with a TCM as all my trucks are awd so I cannot comment on the tcm side of things.

But, so far i have scanned SRS modules and codes, ABS module and done an automated bleed, Air suspension module and actuated the compressor and exhaust valve, scanned/cleared engine codes, done bi-directional controls on the evap solenoids.

if you are ebay savvy you can pick up a innova sds 7111 for 200, you just have to check often, it is $699 new, but it can be found for 200 sometimes a little less seen a couple sold for under 200 recently.
And unlike other brands it has free lifetime updates, versus just 1 year

As folks state above, your best bet would be to look for a used quality bi-directional scanner on eBay or similar. These scanners typically run $500 and up, so if your budget is $200, you will need to find a used one.
