Been working through trying to identify where this craziness is coming from.
Per the wife, a light show displayed on the dash for a few seconds, Tahoe shut down. Easily restarted, no lights since. I've driven it several times since, no issues.
Ran my scanner several times over the past week, some of the codes stay consistent while others come and go. Strange thing is... everything seems to work.
Example of the more common repeat codes:
Lost Comms with Restraint Module - U0151
Invalid Data Received from Restraint Control Module - U0452-7F
Control Module Comms Failure - U0073
Brake Apply Sensor Circuit Range/Performance - C0297
Control Module Power Circuit - B1325-03
Body Control Module Circuit - B3210-4B
Audio System Theft Deterent - B3205-4B
Rear HVAC Actuator Malfunction - B242C-02 and 04
Most recently, had a few others related to Power Windows and now Door ajar lamp short. But... they all seem to work.
I've tried to reset the BCM, but I've been unsuccessful. Not really sure what I'm doing wrong. Remove battery terminals, touch them together, hold the brake down for 30 sec. or so. I've done this with leaving the batter disconnected anywhere from 30 min to overnight. The fact that all the radio presets seem to stay put makes me think that nothing reset.
I'm leaning towards a bad BCM, but everything works.... so I'm just not convinced. I've also read where others have found corroded connectors elsewhere exterior to the vehicle.
Open to all thoughts/suggestions, including how best to perform a reset!
