I just got the GTR Ultra2 LEDs for my 2015 Tahoe. Installed them last night but having trouble. They will stay on for a few minutes but then shut off. Turning off the headlights manually then back on would not make them come back on. No errors reported on the dash. It started to rain so I didn't do any additional troubleshooting. I emailed GTR customer service and waiting for a reply. Thinking this is a load issue but the Ultra2 bulbs were not supposed to need resistors.
I have the same issue I just installed mine today. They turn on right away, then are on for a couple minutes, then just shut off. The only difference is with mine if I turn them off then on and repeat a few times they’ll come on and stay on until I turn the car off and repeat the process. I was just wondering if you got a response from GTR yet? I read some reviews and apparently they take a while to get back to you if you have an issue with their productsI just got the GTR Ultra2 LEDs for my 2015 Tahoe. Yes, I did notice they were not fully snug in there. I have not noticed any negative ancillary impacts with this being the case. All good so far.@sspearsau i installed the lights today and the output is great. Nice upgrade but did you bulbs have any wiggle to them after you twisted them into the socket?
Those look really good.
(I have a ‘15 Yukon Denali with factory HID’s upgraded with OSRAM CBI Bulbs so no skin in this game here...)
However, I will say of all the photos posted of Yukon/Tahoe owners with factory projectors and halogen bulbs that swap to LED/HID bulb set ups the factory projectors seem to work really well with these bulb swap/upgrades.
I’m convinced GM probably used the same projector housing and lenses in the OEM headlights whether they were for HID or Halogen bulb set ups, only changing the bulb/socket connection. Pictures like these posted and the confirmed fact there are far better OEM HID projectors out there than those in our K2XX SUV’s with factory HID’s.
Do you get a nice bright white with these? I have LED fogs and high beams. Accidentally bought h11 replacements for my low beams because I didn’t know they were HIDs. Now I’m having trouble finding leds to replace my HIDs. The slight off white/yellow tint really kills me lol
The short answer to your question is yes.
Here’s a good thread for you to read on “upgrading your HID headlights to LED.”

There’s a photo I posted on page 3 of that thread that will give you a visual comparison of the OSRAM CBI bulbs to the stock Denali HID bulbs.
