Hey guys I upgraded my door speakers today to some Bose. Now I need to replace the rear sub enclosure. My question is can I add the amp and sub enclosure without adding any extra wiring? The speaker already sound better over the stocks that had been in there since new.

I'm not a system kind of guy. Not in it enough to justify spending that kind of money.

I know but they still have alot clearer speakers that separate the sounds really well and stuff like that

Get a nice 8" sub to go in stock location. You will be happy you did. You can find them for pretty cheap.

Different strokes for different folks I guess, I wouldn't have wasted my time installing another set of paper cone speakers that are no different from what you pulled out. As long as you're happy I guess that's all that matters.

I only paid $20 for all four. The ones I had we're the original ones when she rolled off the assembly line.

You would have to change the headunit to the bose amp to get it to work properly. Also, the factory amp in your truck is behind the glove box. The Bose amp sits on top of the special Bose subwoofer that goes in the back. You'd also be missing the two speakers on the a-pillar and the two that go on the right and left hand side of the console.

Maybe I am wrong, but I thought the premium sound systems such as bose ran the speakers at a different ohm rating than a non premium.

As others said, I would invest in a set of aftermarket speakers that will outperform the bose. Although you got the speakers for $20, by the time you get all the essentials to make it run like a factory bose system, you could have bought decent door speakers.
