AC shuts off when it rains or car wash

For anyone that was curious, it turned out to be the ambient temp sensor behind the passenger parking lamp that needed to be replaced.

But now im having the dreaded crazy seat warmer malfunction... the problems continue. lol

How did you figure out it was that sensor?

Funny enough, I went through a BMW forum that had the same issue on multiple cars. Bad sensor will make the temp read too cold therefor shutting off the compressor.

Im having this same issue with mine, except mine will work after and now its started to frequently turn off and on and now constantly remains off now. It works whenever it wants to lol.
