AC is flip flopping when Truck gets up to tem

Recently my Tahoe AC is going from hot to cold to Hot again while driving with the engine running at temp. At start up the AC is ice cold and blasting away.
I noticed when the engine is at temp that AC Compressor clutch is off and on in unison with the cold air and hot air coming through. So I dont think it is the AC clutch or the Compressor, I would assume the compressor would run non stop or it would not run at all.
Ive read that its likely an Expansion Valve at the firewall that maybe failing or clogged. All the lines are basically new due a leak found a few months back

Question Has anyone experienced this and had a different outcome aside from the Expansion Valve.

Check the pressures...may be low on refrigerant.

Update - Mechanics determined that the AC Clutch is getting stuck after warm up need to replace the compressor
