97 4x4- can't put gas in truck

so today after 334 miles, i decided to add some gas. i was going to push the 400 mile mark- if full. but to be safe
20 bucks = 10.875 gallons.

guess i was full and you folks were right- tank was full due to lower price of gas.

Something doesn’t add up there, that’s 30mpg. Reset and go another 100+ miles and check again.

Fill a gas can up and leave in the back, then drive till it dies and get a fresh start. U may have a full tank
