Looking at two trucks. Both for 900. One is a 93 gmc suburban with a rebuilt transmission front bumper bent rear bumper rusted ans surface rust on the roof. Towing set up but no hitch. Interior in good condition. Needs a battery two exhaust donut Gaskets. Needs a coolant sensor because the connector broke.

99 chevy suburban wants 1100 but hopefully I can talk them down to 900. It needs a windshield and inner tie rods. But they have no history on the motor or transmission but drives fine. No rust and in good condition.

I'm on the fence on which one. But the 99 I have to go through regular inspection and tags. The 93 i don't and can get historic tags. I work on my own car and what I can't do my wife father is a chevy tech and he can do.

If it was me, I'd get the 99. 6 yrs newer, and from the sound of it, way better condition. Windshields and tie rods are cheap. But with any used vehicle, make sure you check it out thoroughly. Anything that old will have some issues, just made sure it's nothing you can't handle or afford. Good luck.

Second one looks much nicer. But I like the cowl hood on the first one. Which one, is in better condition?

Well the 99 is body wise. 93 has a bent front bumper and rusted rear bumper. But motor wise the 93 has a rebuilt transmission and serviced motor. The interior 99 is leather and 93 is cloth.

To be fair, When I bought my Tahoe the previous owner didn't even know it was 4wd because it was push-button.

Yeah, that happens!

The 99 would be my choice...no rust in the back panel, either.

I'm waiting for a word back on the 99 to see if it's sold. If not I know of a 97 suburban that's 950. And good condition but it's 2wd to.

99 all things considered. Appears to be in much better condition and I prefer the newer interior of the 99 vs the old box dash of the 93.
