4wd gears, sounds about right to me. The keys sounds a little jacked up to me.

Buying two sets of gears that are normally about 350 bucks each for decent ones, and 500 per axle to instal, that is about par with what you would pay around here.

The keys, I really do not think I would pay that much. Call a few other places around and see what they are getting to do all of this.

Edit:
No if that is 1730 to do the gears, keys, and the alignment, that is not bad at all.

I got my rear differential done with an eaton posi and 4.56 gears for right around that same price so for both diffs and the keys and alignment I'd say go for it!

Thats a damn good price then. I would still call a few other shops in your area just to make sure they are on par with everyone else.

Checked another shop & they said $1750 also. The guy didnt even know what kind of gears they were using. Said he though it started w/ a a. alloy usa. are these any good. I think Yukon is a better a gear, but want opinions.
