Hi guys, I bought a new 2023 tahoe with the 5.3. At 800 miles I noticed a intermittent tick. Sound got worse over a week of driving so I took it to the dealer. Dealer called me and said they are replacing driver side lifters. Got vehicle back and thought all was good until a couple weeks later the ticking came back! Took it to the dealer again they replaced other side lifters. Got it back and the tick is still there. What is going on.....what's causing the tick to come back after replacing with new lifters? Note sound goes away after engine fully warmed up.
