2018 Yukon Denali block heater install

Anyone installed a block heater on their '18 yet?
I had the dealer install the heater but was told they can't feed the plug through the grill due to the louvres which open and close based on engine airflow needs. Seems silly to drive around with the plug hanging out of the hood or having to open the hood itself every time I plug in.

So... I drilled a hole in my fog light shroud and stuck in a marine grade 110v outlet with weather cap. Used a heat cut to soften/ mold the plug into the shroud so due to the curves. Turned out well in my opinion. In retrospect, I likely did not need the additional length power cord which came with the outlet as the factory wiring would have been sufficient on its own. I wound up coiling the extra and zip tying it into the spare battery tray.
