another thing to think about if you happen to have the oil cooler in the radiator.
buy a bypass for the side of the pan, see if it helps.

Also the filter from a 2011 Buick enclave is larger and has a higher pressure oil bypass.
that helped my oil pressure a bit, and it has more capacity to prevent plugging and bypassing of sludge.

pretty much the bypass means that it would need to build up nearly double the pressure before it would bypass the filter.
if you see any sort of fluctuating of that oil pressure, especially at idle, change the filter asap.

I'm pretty sure my engine got wiped out by some sludge that i released when i first bought the hoe and used some engine oil cleaner.
released the demons in the form of sludge.
wiped out the rear cam bearing.
metal in oil.

good times!

right now i'm learning that my radiator may have issues with it's oil coolers
transmission fluid and engine oil cooler.

My oil pressure had a pretty good improvement when i installed a little bypass.
most noticeable thing was how fast the pressure rises
before there was quite the delay on the gauge.

granted, what happened to me is a worst case.
And i just broke out the checkbook thinking "upgrades!"

:yaoface2:

try the other things first,
but this is the cheap little bypass i bought

Gasket for the bypass

Reading the reviews, i installed it with both the O-ring and the gasket.

That's the filter I have been using for years on all these 5.3-6.2
Wix 57045 and 57045XP. Also makes it easier to remove with the extra length
