how did you paint these ?

Engine enamel yellow paint. Has good gloss then had to do custom vinyl for the letters as no one makes them.

So truck goes into shop monday to get key mark fixed and some chrome color matched. I would do the handles right now but just would cost to much as they have to come off the car and also very close to Christmas.

So I am doing this for now

Then Might do some vinyl on the window trim

Then I might do black on door handles and mirrors

Whats your thoughts on the last two? I would do all color match but I don't feel like spending a grand on that. As I still have to pay 500 to repaint the whole door.

I like the idea of black on the window trim and chrome part of mirror. If you do that, though, colormatch the handles (rather than black). Black handles cheapen the look IMO but if colormatched it'd go really well together I think. then you'll want to black out the chrome on the running board.

I did not want to be mean but sometimes being brutally honest is the best approach. Just randomly painting things black makes it look like a cheap work truck edition, I understand you dislike chrome but at least color match things so it flows.

Yeah just trying to match some of the other black. But I get you. So now it iwll be color matched door trim and fender vent. Then once I get back I will vinyl the window trim.
