Once I get the fuel pump and fuel lines replaced I'll consider the LSA blower

Also I found the 15mm bolts into the bell housing don't match. I wonder if my trans gas been out in the past.

My bottom two bolts were like that and I thought the same. I've owned mine since 147K miles, and the oil pan has been off prior to my ownership, so I just assumed they lost one of the correct bolts and threw in a different one.

I wouldn't be doing this all if I didn't have another car to drive.

Pan prepped with gasket, rivets, and new oil cooler cover and gasket.

Surface prepped.

But wait! The dipstick was touching the header. F*CK. So I bent it. Then the brace/bracket broke.

So I bent it another direction. It doesn't touch but the zip tie holding it in place bothers me.

Soooo I got a fancy dipstick on order made by Lokar.

You are definitely not the first one to have that happen. Happened on me on my ‘07 but I was fine with the zip tie solution as it had 270K.

So drinkin and thinkin and realized my 170k mile starter was old and subjected to an oil leak.

Why not put in a new one?

You know what makes for an easy starter removal? No oil pan, dipstick tube, brace etc..

I've seen a TON of thos ps coolers leak from corrosion. I am in Jersey tho--salty, snowy state. I deleted mine because of that.

I understand. I live in the DC area, did undergrad in CO, and grew up in AK.

I just looped the inlet/outlet hoses from the cooler itself, deleting the cooler. I still have pwr steering.
