Decided it was time to do plugs since I never did them when I bought it. I did pull a couple when I bought it and they looked good. However recently I've noticed an occasional misfire or stumble at low rpm high load situations such as rolling a stop in third gear at like 3-5mph. Yes I should just downshift but this thing makes so much torque it usually doesn't mind.

Anyway pulled plugs and found one with crack porcelain and one MSD wire corroded terribly on the coil pack side.

Also while doing the passenger side I dropped a socket and had to crawl under the truck. Suddenly I noticed 2 of the passenger side crossmember bolts were extremely loose. Went ahead and checked a bunch of other stuff all was well.

Jeez all sorts of random changes. Well My HD grille and bumper came in but the grill has deep scratches and a huge crack in the middle chrome bar. Guess I gotta wait until Monday to report the broken parts and hopefully get my money back or have them send me another. Anyone have a better place to order them from besides carparts.com? I know there are no more OEM GM parts but theres got to be a place to buy a halfway decent part.
I THINK rockauto has them reasonably priced.

That's actually for the grill and bumper pad but the shipping didn't change removing the bumper pad.

I think I'll just bite the bullet and do fed ex early AM

03 had tons. Stabibltrac, DIC cluster, 2" longer wheelbase, rear bucket option, 3 zone climate controls, DL3 mirrors, adjustable pedals, there's more.

Although, it appears hydroboost was added in 2004.
Yeah my 03 does not have it. [emoji3525]

Well Carparts.com is send me a new grille and bumper cover for free! Don't even have to send the old stuff back which is nice. We will see how they look when they get here this time.

Also went to a junkyard looking for the factory rear Bose box and couldn't find one. Everything was either base model or suburban/Yukon XL.
Then I decided to make some cardboard templates and try to make my own box. There is way more junk in that corner than I thought. So I'm gonna stop by an audio shop after work today and talk about a custom sleek/hidden enclosure. Plus a head unit with backup camera capability.

It’s too bad MTX quit making the Thunderform rear enclosure that fit a 10” sub. I bought one before they went obsolete. You had to move the jack to somewhere else to fit it, which is what you’ll have to do in order to build a decent enclosure there.

I've looked all over for one left over for sale but no luck. I think I might get a little wild since its gonna be something custom. 2 JL12W3s and a 1,000w amp should be more than I will ever need.
