Very clean tables, I might need to clean mine up some more I have a lot of decimals just from using percentages to raise or lower areas.

Put new plugs in this morning and it fired right up as it should, it did not seem to help with the low speed bucking at all tho. Gonna check wires when I get home and make sure everything is as it should be. I’ve had wires pop off in the past and be down a cylinder and barely be able to tell until the check engine light came on.

I noticed a slight miss on avalanche in wet weather, before I did the refresh. Popped the hood to spray some water on the coil packs and noticed an arc. Plug wire wasnt even connected to the coil, just close enough to arc. I couldn't believe it was still running like it was

I was just going to mist some water from a spray bottle and see if anything arced or it started missing. I was getting the garden hose out...

I was just discussing with my Tahoe Twin yesterday how the "old school" copper plugs were actually better performers, but last about 100K miles less. It's got me thinking that I'd probably be a good candidate for some copper plugs with how mine's tuned and with how little I drive it. I'm glad you shared the details. I've been trying to find something unnecessary to spend money on.

Let us know the horsepower and mpg differences if you do this. I was thinking along the same lines earlier this year.

Yeah I find it hard to believe this happened during a normal dry sunshining day, in a 4cylinder truck
, with 32” tires. Without excessive speed or being under the influence of something potent. He was the only vehicle involved and cut 4 palm trees completely in half. His battery ended up across the other three lanes of traffic and unfortunately…. I mean miraculously he was ok.

My buddy needed a part today so while I was at O'Reilly getting that for him, I grabbed a set of them plugs. At $5 each, I'm not even gonna try to shop around and risk getting counterfeits. I had the guy grab an NGK Iridium (or Iridium IX?) like what I'm running now so I could compare the size and fit. Honestly, I'm not expecting feeling anything. I guess I could try advancing my timing a miniscule amount and watch for knock. I was gonna throw 'em in when I install that alcohol sensor. But I should wait and get baselines once all that's done and settled. Really, there's probably not much room left in the timing to be worth messing with. I'm still not so qualified to be messing around there. Baby steps.

Back in the early LS1 f-body days, we were running TR6's as they were a bit colder plug...at the time, we thought heat soak was going to be an issue and did all sorts of whacky things. I want to say that was the plug of choice for the nitrous guys, too. Been considering TR55's for my Tahoe just for fun. I'm fairly stock, so not sure TR6 would benefit any?
