Scanning through the text in the link before I clicked, I was like "meh" when I saw "1200 hp...twin turbo LS...". Then I put it all together and popped a chubby.

Nelson Racing Engines: 3.890 bore 2.725 stroke

so it looks like a 4.8/5.3 block bored out to 3.890 with aftermarket crank with 2.725 stroke

so it looks like a 4.8/5.3 block bored out to 3.890 with aftermarket crank with 2.725 stroke

lsx block comes rough @ 3.880 bore not that theres any reason i should know this or anything

I have to say, the turbos are easier on valve trane than NA. I was making just over 700 hp na, and when I switched to turbos, I make better than 50% more HP, and am using a much much smaller cam to do it. Heat management is pretty important when you run it wot like that for that kind of time. Crazy.
