I've got a 2007 Tahoe 2wd with 240,000 miles that i've owned for 8.5 years. Truck has been awesome with very little issue. Starting late last week, the transmission started shifting different than I've grown accustomed to. From a stand-still, the first shift of the trans was normally around 1500rpms at moderate throttle pressure. The new first shift seems to be around 2500rpms. The fluid was a little low and topped off a few days ago using the hot temp mark on the dipstick. No check engine light or other warnings have popped up on the dash.
Anyone ever had this happen? Could this be a programming issue, a heads up of a failing trans or something in between?
