Hey TYF. I have been around here for a little while now. Learned a lot, been trying to help others where I can, and have enjoyed it here so far.

Anyway, I was driving around (like usual) to different job sites today, and had to visit a site we are bidding next week. Anyway, I had my camera out, and took a couple shots. I liked the way it looked. Its nothing like some of your pictures with the fancy cameras and artsy "poses"! but I just got the HID fogs in a couple weeks ago. Really liking the look so far... ** the amber lights are for work. have them in the rear window too. I was going to turn them off and take some more pictures, but at 18 degrees here in PA today, I didnt feel like getting back out of the truck...

did the little mods already... tint, HIDs, hid fogs, removed badges and molding, white gmc logo in grille, roof rack delete, g4 tails, led bulbs all around, led interior bulbs, and pxamg setup. turned the drl s off not too long ago when I installed the hid fogs.

future plans, i would get wheels, but I am often driving onto jobsites with rocks that would certainly ruin the lip on any wheels larger than 20s, so i like these, i MIGHT go with some 22 escalade wheels...

but I will be lowering it 2/3-4 with the belltech system after this winter. I figured I am going to try it... if it is a problem for work, then ill have to go back. For the sites I am on, it is not so much ground clearance as it is just larger rocks... so the lowering should be alright. I also plan on doing a cat back exhaust system... I just havent had time to do the research on which system to go with.

I also dropped off the rear appliques at the paint job last week. I want to color match those to the car. I think GM really dropped the ball on leaving the yukons rear appliques and spoilers black. So those will be on soon. Thanks to a TYF member for selling me those at a great price!

And yeah, its a great work truck. I am on the road a lot between sites, and have a whole laptop setup so I can travel wherever and still be connected to the office. I had an X5 before this, and an NBS escalade before that... this is certainly my favorite ride. the x5 just didnt have the room inside to store all the plans, laptop, papers, regular car stuff (jumper cables, first aid kit, and such), AND fit the dog in. I love the denali for many reasons, including this! I will try to get some more pictures from all sides after I get those appliques painted...

Good for you! I'm with you on this one. Have felt the same since getting painted and installing Escalade smooth appliques on my '02 Tahoe. It's beyond me why they'd leave these pieces black on the current GMCs. Makes no sense.

Incidentally, are you leaving the "Denali" lettering on the doors? Your truck looks so good with the molding removed that now it looks like the lettering is just floating in space with no reference. Might look perfect with it gone, now that your molding is gone.

Where in PA are you? I'm right outside of Philly -- and yeah, it's COLD here now!

Yeah, i am pretty undecided about the denali lettering... I am actually considering letting a buddy of mine who does pin striping lay down a line that would help with the lettering. Sometimes I look at the truck, and I think, I dont know about leaving that there.... Then other times I think it looks great. I dont know. One day I will probably take it off.

I am in North Whitehall Township, just north of Allentown. Not far from Philly at all. We dont do work in the city, but we do a lot of work in the 5 counties surrounding the city.
