03 Tahoe brake lines. active brake control??? RPO code JL4??

so one of my brake lines cracked while i was doing 60mph and i had to hit the brakes when the traffic light turned red which i blew right through. luckily i didnt hit another car.

anyways, i am on rockauto and there is a DORMAN 919153 {#22932593} Kit i want to buy.
it has all 9 lines for my Tahoe.
but it say "w/o RPO code JL4 (active brake control)"

You need to look in your glove box at the RPO codes. Look to see if you have the JL4 code. If yes, then get the active kit. If not, you need the other one.

Looks right to me. If you want to verify visually, take a look at the brake lines where they hop over the center of the rear axle. If there are 2 flexible lines, you are JL4. Otherwise, there will only be 1 that splits to the 2 rear calipers.

can i bleed the system the old way?
furthest caliper from the master and work my way up?
or do i need to take to the dealer to hook up the gm scan tool?

Yes you can. The abs pump can get air in it but if you cycle the key before each caliper it should bleed fine, if not you can bleed, go for a ride and fine some grass or gravel and lock em up then bleed again, etc etc. make sure you don’t floor the pedal when pumping, you’ll blow seals in master.

Probably a hub or wheel speed sensor, not your ABS module. Although, there are solder joints in the module that guys have had to reflow.

If you remove the module, you will need to pull the fuse, or you'll have an external abs light.

so pull the fuse first?
is this located in the engine bay or the side panel?
