Got the double din installed this week. Love the new system, especially the hands-free blutooth calling. I'm only using the green LED display to try to match the stock colors on the dash. If I ever get around to getting a new gauge cluster, I'll upgrade to newer LEDs.

Here's a shot of the reverse view. Not sure why this one came out so much darker than the rest.

I also cleaned up the headlights this morning. @about20ninj45 should be pleased to finally see this haha
Just a quick preview...don't need to upload a whole bunch of pictures for both sides just for you guys to see that they're oxidized.

Not a big update, but after an exam today I needed a little stress relief. Color matched the front GMC emblem...no up close pictures yet because I haven't done any fine detailing around the letters.

Got a set of wheels and a 2/3 belltech lowering kit from Tony a few weeks ago. Dropped the Yukon off to get everything installed at 8 this morning only to receive a call from the shop saying the lowering kit couldn't be installed because they only do lift kits... Apparently only high school kids with their parents' money are the ones getting suspension work done in my county. Will post pics of wheels tomorrow.

I love the new wheels. Thanks @NORCAL SS Maybe I can get the lowering kit on before school starts back too.

NEXT UP: Get the Denali trim molding painted and put on. I have all the pieces, I'm just debating whether I want to repaint the sides when I have the molding installed. There are a few rough places on the driver door that look worn down to the metal. I have also considered getting that touched up and having new clear sprayed on. Stay tuned!

Tomorrow I've got the Upper and Lower Intermediate steering shaft being installed. (Edit)*** Getting this installed because I'm tired of the rattle and also having the steering wheel cocked at an angle when driving straight. Pitman and Idler arms were swapped out last year.

Decided to let him install both sway bars too since I'll be working while on break. It already handles much better with the 20s compared to stock. When I'm done, just about every suspension part will be new aside from the control arms.

Quite a bit of updates, but not many pictures over the past few weeks. Finally got the spindles and rear springs installed. As you will see in the pictures, the 2/3 drop seemed too low in the rear for me (especially with the A/T tires). I ended up ordering a 2" spacer to replace the 1" one that came with the kit from Tony. He was a big help, especially since the shop incorrectly installed the rear end links >.< It rode like a radio flyer wagon until I had time to drop it back off and explain the issue.

First set of pictures are with the 2/3 drop...which was too low for me.

Now here are a few pics with the 2" spacer to raise the rear up a bit.

I know it needs a good cleaning, but the weather has been sporadic lately. And to add a slight teaser pic, I'm not worried about the paint because I'll soon have the sides and rear painted when these new pieces are installed

Nice work on the suspension and drop. Liking that stance. Wheels complement nicely too.

How did it sit that low at 3 inches? What kind of shocks you have in the rear? Did you measure to see where the fenders sat at on the 3 inch drop?

My kit is 759. So what's the difference in my rear coils and 5305?

Hopefully they put in the right coils. Check to make sure yours,says,5305 on coils. Also if you have the oem hd shocks they keep it up when you put belltechs on will go down

I just looked at the coils and they have 5305-001 H15 on them. I'm just curious as to why his Tahoe sat so low in the rear with a 3 inch drop in rear with the 1 inch spacer in it.

Right rear was 34" exactly and left rear measured 33 and 3/4 with the 1" spacer. Both fronts measured in at 33 3/8 with the 2" spindles. I don't have a measurement right now with the 2" spacer, but I can check on that in the morning.
