maxtrac 2/4 drop

I have a 2018 Yukon denali with magneride, I recently just installed a 2/4 drop kit from MaxTrac consisting of 2" front spindles and 4" rear springs. I cut the rear airride sensor rods provided by MaxTrac to the proper length for the drop (2 3/4" eye to eye). after installing the kit I noticed the stance is on point but my rear is a lot more bumpy when driving and almost feels like its static when going over speed bumps and whatnot. is this normal or did I miss something? should I have kept more on the sensor rods or taken more off? any help is appreciated, thanks!!

I cannot personally assist you with your drop and ride issue, but other members of this Forum much more knowledgeable than me in this area will chime in.

I have 2015 XL with the same kit/drop. I ended up doing the free travel mod bc it almost sat on the factory bump stops. I still get a bottomed out feeling on the passenger side over certain bumps. I think it could be shocks bottoming out or worn out.

A buddy did the dodge version of that companies drop kit on his 2018 ram, and it rides like a ***** in the back now. Maybe they don't know how to make a good riding spring? He is changing his drop spring out for the belltech version asap.

I'm looking at the same kit for my 19 denali xl and was told that I would probably need to get better shocks since the weight and springs that max offers isn't going to provide a good ride.. I was looking at the belltech kit, but at $1309 it's a big step up in price. Would the max kit and belltech shocks be a good fit? The 2 separate kits would be under $1k saving a bit of money, but not sure if that extra $300 is worth just getting the full belltech kit???
