Headlight Bulb Upgrade

Looking to upgrade my headlight and foglight bulbs to something a bit more clear or blueish, like a newer XENON Headlight, as I woulod like to get rid of the yellowish look.
(I would like for it to look very similar to my clear LED's I am running as DRL's, while still getting good light output).

Not interested in a headlight modification/upgrade, simply would like to change the bulbs to something that will get rid of the yellowish look and become more clear/blueish like a XENON.

Anyone have any recommendations for a bulb as described that will fit my 2004 Yukon SLT?

What about the fog lights? Is there anything out there that has the same effects, as I believe the foglights are enclosed on our rigs and one can not just simply change out the bulbs.

Any input is as always greatly appreciated. THANKS in advance!

You can get silverstar bulbs, but the reason they are brighter/whiter is because they are more powerful, and will burn out faster. You can get the blue tinted chinese bulbs, but they will either a. won't be as bright or b. will burn out faster.

So basically what you are saying is, STICK WITH WHAT YOU GOT?

These are very bright and will have the look your wanting.
Do not know the diff between the XS and non. But i'm sure someone will tell us.
Don't worry about bulb life. just keep a single old bulb in glove box for when one of these burns out in a couple years.

Now thats out of the way. I would simply get a 5k DDM tuning HID kit and a retrofitsource relay harness and never think twice.
All the performance and color you want and more.

What about a foglight/foglight bulb to match the ones you suggested and how do you change the fog light bulb?

nope. Get depo projectors and do a retrofit

Do it slowly, get depo's this month, get the retro package next month... spread the cost out...

Yess. just get 880 series of those bulbs for fogs.

As far as retro fit. check this out..

New headlights and turns. I chose clear based on the fact your rocking Red led in back and they look great with your body color.
Just dont hook up the leds or halo rings.

Now add this kit and its a simple unscrew crap projectors and screw on new ones. NO modding needed.

no. it just twists out the back just like headlights.

Nm on that plug n play. they do require work.

Ok, so we need a 9006 for the low beam and a 880 for the fog lights.

Can you also provide the part number for the high beam bulb?

Appears that the "XS" has a straight connector, while the other bulb has the "L" shape connector which is needed on our trucks.

Purchased the Sylvania SZ Silverstar ZXE (9005/High Beam and 9006/Low Beam) as well as the Sylvania Silverstar 880 ST (Fog Light) today.

Installation will hopefully take place tomorrow.

Hope these things are worth the pretty penny I paid for them.

O they are! If you want to juice them more, get this for all head lights and this for fogs.
They will help stabilize the voltage.

Its a dbl edged sword. meaning it will both help them last longer and burn out faster. LOL

Install them now! it takes all of 10 mins!.
