Just bought a new-to-us 2015 Suburban LT. One of the headlights was out; didn’t think much of it, as my 2007.5 Duramax has had ongoing bulb issues on the drivers side so I’m no novice to replacing bulbs…so I just bought a new H11 bulb with the intention of replacing it. When we got it opened up to replace the bulb, we saw that there was no bulb installed at all, and there is a green Delphi 4-pin connector where the H11 plug should be. Weird!

So: I’ve googled, watched a bunch of YouTube videos and looked at parts schematics. I cannot for the life of me find any reference to a harness or adapter to a 4-pin to connect the H11 bulb. Maybe the ‘Burban had an aftermarket headlight put in on that side (passenger), but the high beams in that same headlight assembly look stock (and match the driver’s side). I also don’t see that same connector on the (working with a bulb) driver’s side. The installed bulbs look to be Xenon with the fans.

Anyone have any suggestions or part numbers? Do we need to get an H11 pigtail and pin it?

Pic of the green 4-pin for reference. This is the only thing where the low beam headlight should be once the cover is removed.

Welcome to the Forum from NH.

Lots of knowledgeable folks here who freely share their knowledge, experiences, and perspectives. Knowledge is power.

I hope that you will become a participating member in the Forum's discussions.

Pics of the truck, please.

I'd trace/follow that green plug wire back and see if the connector that you are looking for is somewhere back on this wire.

Thanks for the welcome, SWFL here.
Currently I only have one pic of the truck itself, but I can take some a little later, just let me know what you’d like to see pics of. The wire with the green 4-pin connector seems to come from inside the headlight assembly and it doesn’t seem to have any more slack than what you see in the pic in my post, unfortunately.

Editing to add a little detail: even though it’s an LT, it’s kitted out like an LTZ.

that connector is for a hid bulb, it connects to the built in ballast on the bulb housing. not a standard incandescent. the housing front view gives it away as well (low beam projectors).
when you do get the correct bulb it is tricky to install you have to hold it in and twist the locking mechanism inside the housing that holds the bulb in place.
if the other side has a fan then a previous owner changed it to led in which case you will want to either just buy a new set of led or hid otherwise you may end up with 2 different colored lights. dealer is going to want probably a $100+ for a new hid, you can get aftermarket ones online for a 1/3rd of that price for a set of 2

Hey east coaster! I went to college on your side, it’s a little too fast paced for me but it sure is fun over there.

Thanks! Yeah, the ‘Burban sure is a pretty ride (and comfy…omg). I’m still kinda in shock that she’s mine! We’d been casually looking for a Tahoe if one came across our radar, but the ‘Burban belonged to a friend of a friend, and it checked all the boxes (and was the right color because it matches my flatbed).

So yep, that’s my 07.5 Duramax dually, my daily driver for six or so years now. She is a great, reliable truck; LTZ with all the bells and whistles, even a sunroof…so kinda bougie for a work truck but has been perfect for me. I’ll keep that truck until it falls apart, lol.

Links to any you’d recommend? Thanks!

Editing to add: both high beams and the (working with bulb) low beam have fans. Kinda curious how there is one HID and three LEDs…

they could have been led, but I haven't seen oem led's with fans.
I think it's more likely some one changed them all to led then and one went bad.
the auxito brand is good if you get the genuine auxito, this store on ebay sells genuine auxito beware of fakes elsewhere

Thanks, I'll look into those.

I have to say, I'm just now on my computer, and user sigs don't show on mobile so I didn't see it before but your Silverado is absolutely stunning!

For everyone who has given advice, I found I do have a pic of the drivers side that DOES have a bulb (I wish I had taken it out but oh well)...maybe this will help anyone to help me figure out WTF is going on with my missing bulb harness.

Y'all have been awesome and so welcoming!

Thanks and yes and I am pretty sure that bulb pictured is aftermarket, a oem one would have a gm p/n if anything at all it would not be marked h11/etc

you could pull that one out and take a couple pictures of it and do a google picture search you might find who made it and get lucky and just have to buy 1.
I'll give that a try, thanks! ChatGPT is surprisingly good for that stuff too, if you haven't tried it

for future reference the k2's are a mixed bag on what lights they may have hid, led, incandescent OR they might be mixed
the wifes 2016 were incandescent in a projector low beam, my 2018 silverado was hid in a projector low beam
and both high beam are incandescent, some are led, have led blinker, some are incandescent blinker.,
just never know until you turn them on and are right there in person, hard to tell from photos "sometimes"

Thanks, Wes, much appreciated. I was confident that one of this Forum's members could assist the OP.

Just another example of why this Forum ROCKS!

I've used a few different Auxito models on a few different vehicles and they have always been an improvement. Currently running the Y19 regular beams and M3S fogs, both have been great improvements for visibility.
