so i've been having this issue for a while now..
1. when I press forward or use the window washer the wipers start working but do not turn off.
2. I need to use the wiper switch to turn wipers on/ then off - this does the trick to turn them off.

I did a little research and found that GMs have issues with wiper motor pulse board.. but my issue is slightly different so wandering if its the same fix.

There used to be boards inside the the wiper motor cover that you could attempt to repair. This part is a whole module. Since I have not been in a shop for years I am unsure if you can solder the old board. I guess it is feasible so why not attempt it.

The part I posted the thread for is the module but there may still be a board under the motor cover, if the cover is removable.
