Want to check my fuel pump pressure. I have an old fuel pressure gauge but it only goes to 10psi.

I have a set of AC gauges that could work if I can connect them.

Anyone good with threads and fittings and know what I would need / if I could connect the AC gauges to the schrader valve on the fuel line?

I bought something similar for like $19 seems to be worth the price paid came with the case and various adapters, no need for a $300 tester kit unless your using the tool to make a living

Got a harbor freight near you?

Their test kit is maybe $20-30 and works well enough for a few runs. Plus you can take it back when it starts leaking.

I’m not sure what material is used on the a/c hose kits, but I’d bet that the gasoline will eat through whatever seals they use.

That looks like it, mine is a couple years old and came with only styrofoam. Gas has eaten it up but it works well enough for the couple times I’ve used it.

So many tools I want from Harbor Freight. Going to cost me a lot more than $16 to go there!

I thought the A/C gauges are designed and calibrated for the refrigerant they measure, like you have to have different gauges for R22, R12, R134A, etc.

I can't imagine how they'd respond with gasoline in them. The gauge would probably read inaccurately and they'd be contaminated and the seals may dissolve.

So, yeah, HF FTW on this one.

Gauge reads pressure and it would work, might mess up some seals though. The different gauges for different refrigerants show the evaporation temp. Some new refrigerants run at very high pressure and those gauges have a different pressure scale.

Got away lightly at Harbor freight. Only bought $65 of junk. They didn't have a couple things in stock I probably would bought.
