Anybody notice the OEM HD hood is discontinued? P/N 15745931 can't be purchased anymore. Is there a new part number or is aftermarket the only way to go now? Where did you get yours @Fernando navarro ? Is it OEM?

OEM or aftermarket? New or used? When I search for Keystone Auto Parts I get LKQ Auto Parts which is a local wrecking yard with national ties. Also searched keystoneautobodyparts.org and found a used one in Cali for $350. Not sure if I could get it sent to Portland.

Need help please. I'm looking to do an HD hood on my '06 Sub. I found a hood supposedly for a 2001-2002 silverado 2500/3500. The part number they are telling me is GM1230330. I have read on here that part number is 15745931?

Did the part number change? Will the 1230330 work?

Different numbers, same HD hood.
Interchange Part Number: GM1230330, 15745931, 117-01579

Must be 2001-2002 Silverado HD 2500/3500

The only years that will work. 6 bolts direct swap on the Tahoe and Suburban only. Yukons need fab work, but do look sweet when done.

Will look like this one OEM. There are aftermarket ones out there, however I did not look at them as I was only settling for OEM.

Thanks Foss! I will definitely pick it up and get it painted.

Btw..your Tahoe looks really nice! Love the wheels. TBSS? Are they larger? I had an 07 TBSS and I thought the wheels were 20''. Yours look like 22"?
I like 'em!

That's for a GM, as in Chevrolet Tahoe, but not for a GMC Yukon. Nobody makes a HD hood that fits a Yukon, you have to cut it around the headlights and either fold or weld the leading edge.
Didnt post the link for the Yukon guys. It was posted for anyone that owns a GM that they are still available.

Oh, got it. But you do realize it's not actually OEM even though that's what the title states. The description states "multiple manufacturers" under brand. GM hasn't manufactured the HD hoods for at least a couple years. Too bad, since the actual brands of most of these aftermarket hoods aren't even listen on most of them, this one included. The fine print at the bottom of their page says it all:

"The aftermarket replacement product offered on this page does not have a UPC (Universal Product Code) associated with it. Without a UPC, the manufacturer of this aftermarket product cannot be verified, and the brand name has been labeled as "unknown". However, the product on this page does have an ABPA (Automotive Body Parts Association) Partslink number that specifies the year, make and model as well as product type and details that confirm the fitment of this product."
