I have about 500 miles on my 2016 Denali 4x4 and haven't experienced it yet.....
How many of you DO NOT experience buffetting and vibration problem?

I have no issues with mine. 2015 LS 4wd. Early, early Feb 2014 Build. Just turned 21,000 miles. I had no issues with stock 18" Fuel Max tires and swapped to Bridgestone Revo 2 tires about 15K miles ago and no issues with those tires. I am very very very picky with any noises and can detect the faintest of driveline noise. I am curious what the noise is like. Is this issue present on any LS or SLE models?

I don't seem to have it either but have just had it now for about 800 miles. Bought it used with 19k and it is a March '14 build. Have the AFM turned off, corsa exhaust and 35" tires which may help from what I have read.

I have a 2015 Yukon XL Denali, May 2015 build with OEM 22" wheels. I had absolutely no vibration problems until I changed my stock tires in Jan '16 to 22" Blizzaks. I have my own tire changer & wheel balancer. I didn't have the wheel balancer set to the most precise balancing when I made the change for the winter. The first drive after the tire change, the vibration was mostly unbearable around 73MPH. Anything below and it was fine. About 2 weeks later, I more carefully balanced the tires with the most precise setting for my machine. After the re-balance, the vibration would only occur above 76MPH and it was nowhere near as severe. Over the last couple months, the salt/road grime made the vibration severe again at around 72MPH. I just thoroughly cleaned the whole vehicle on Saturday and it went back to only a minor vibration above 75/76. I just took it to the dealer for the scheduled maintenance and had them balance the tires yesterday, and now there is absolutely no vibration at any speed. I have close to 24,000 miles on the Denali.
I find it interesting so many people say they have no issues. Does that mean no BOOMING over low speed bumps/road imperctions? Vibration and buffetting are major and I agree, not all have it. Mine has a highway speed slight vibration due to the crappy Continental tires. However, every one I drove had the BOOMING at low speeds. Just wondering if others notice that.

The only reason I have vibration at low speeds is because of the Nitto Trail Grappler MT's on mine. At higher speeds, smooth with the Mag Ride Susp.....

I haven't noticed booming in any of them that I've driven or driven in...the other stuff, absolutely. But not the booming. Not sure why...

I have a '15i Yukon SLE and had buffeting And vibrations when I bought it new. After replacing all the tires and road force balancing the problem went away.
I've since put 24" wheels on, and some minor vibrations and buffeting have come back. It's not bad enough to bother me, however I have had the new wheels road force balanced by discount tire and that certainly improved the condition. I'm pretty sure if I took it to a wheel specialist and had them road forced again/properly the buffeting/vibrations would disappear.

No problem. I am just very familiar with it coming out of a G8GT.
It is Active Fuel Management and Displacement on Demand. It is what causes the engine to cut out into 4 cylinder mode to save fuel costs.
In a Pontiac G8 with any serious engine mods, it was annoying as heck. One of the first mods recommended in the G8 forum was a tune to remove the AFM and keep it in 8 cylinder mode at all times.
Fuel mileage suffered. But the annoying vibration was gone.

I didn't drive my G8 much. Only 20K miles in 6 years.
I bought a module to eliminate AFM in my Yukon. I have only driven in town since plugging it in; no highway trips yet. I'm averaging 14-15 mpg on mostly 5-20 mile trips.

I have Afm disabled on my Tahoe with a Range technology. I got sick of the horrible drone when v4 kicked in. I have not noticed any mileage change which is awesome. Drove to Orlando this weekend and got 24.2 Mpg.
