I have a Corsa Touring with a blower, she runs like a top! I thing the 3"vs3.5" hype is a bit overboard.

AGREED...most just go w the appropriate muffler so they don't have to downsize or upsize tubing when keeping stock pipping...

Jenna do you guys have headers on the truck? hows it do w the corsa?

Yes, Justin's truck has the Doug Thorley Tri Ys on it with the TVS1900. He had an MBRP exhaust on there, and wound up going back to stock, it was WAY too loud once the LTs went on. If you have a Magnaflow, you will probably hate it with LTs. With my supercharged 04, it sounded great, until I put on cam and headers; once a blower on there, it sounded like the end of the world, and I switched to a Corsa Touring.

I didn't hesitate with my last two Denalis, and went right for the Touring both times!

All magnaflows are straigh thru, you just need to get the appropriate 3 or 3.5" tubing depending on your engine...i believe the 5.3 has the 3"?

I have the 3.5" on my 6.2 w a blower...she does well...headers will really give you some gains w a blower.

Got it! I am leaning towards the magnaflow 12259.

long or short headers?

Speaking of headers anyone know if the American racing long tube headers with high flow cats go well with the 5.3? performance wise.

Those are one of the best options right there.

I had stainless works with an off-road 3" Y-pipe and on a F/I Silverado 5.3 and it screamed.

Tried to respond to your PM but I can't PM yet. So in response to your PM...

I'd say yes, unless you plan to enter competitions. There is plenty enough sound coming out of my current speaker upgrade, albeit with a little equalizer tuning.

Sorry I'm just getting back to you.

Alex.

are you running a oem or aftermarket HU? i need some advice on a mild upgrade from the bose system

And now I'm chasing the random Stabilitrac/ABS warning messages after getting the first one on Friday and one Sunday.

Got my new HU and sub box installed. Hits hard that is for sure. Time to upgrade the door speakers. The factory bose speakers can't keep up now.

You should check out the Hybrid Audio Imagine line, excellent sound quality!

Took the Denali on a 1600 miles trip this weekend. Pulled a small trailer with a motorcycle on it, got between 12-13 mpg, was hoping for a little better, but no going to complain to much.
