Well lookie here!!!!I used the hanger idea that a few of you gave me and it worked great! Got the rear monitors in. Now all I have to do is run the wire from the rear montors in the captains up to the front and hook it up!
I'm totally stoked if you can't tell
I'm still waiting for some RCA adapters that are to be here mid next week but I'm going to at least get all the wires to that connection point so it's easy to just hook it up.

You def got some balls to have taken on that project with no prior experience. But it paid off. It looks great and I can only imagine how awesome it is actually using it.

Well, if it wasn't for Nathan offering to be available to answer questions for me and stuff like that I probably would not have been so willing to take it on because I was pretty intimidated by it so I owe a lot of credit for being willing to take on this project to him.....and believe me I was not short on questions

will finish running the wire tomorrow and my RCA adapters should be here wednesday to complete it.
I have to give it up to Jacob though. I don't know if I would have tackled the project only knowing what he knew going in to it.
We've talked on the phone for hours going through it step by step. And I do mean hours. Even driving 12 hours to the Super Bowl through a couple states talking on the phone. We also Skyped and showed him how to do stuff by taking my truck apart at the same time.
EDIT: And the text messages... man those text messages. Have you ever seen a text message and actually made this gesture?
It's best to just text back "call me". Or get the occasional "I know you might be sleeping but..." text?

I warned you when you offered to assist me with questions on the install that I knew NOTHING about wiring or installing audio or video equipment you're question to me was "Are you mechanically inclined at all?". I answer "yes" and here we are 
With that said, I've learned everything I know by going for it and just doing it and with that someone also has to teach you along the way. In this case it was Nathan and I'm very grateful for his patience and willingness to help out

You know Jacob...... the proud feeling you feel right now would never have come from paying someone else to do it.
This is the reason I say that people should so their own mods and service whenever possible. I see people all the time paying someone else to do their mods. :thumbdown:
