Rau, even if you aren't ready to buy the full kit just make sure you buy the micro gatlings asap from trs. Andrew told me a couple of weeks ago that there's very few left and as far as I know they're the only shrouds that'll work with the matchbox projector.
Light output looks good bud.![]()

Looks good. Im doing quad Mini setup. Same lights as well, but the black housing ones. Might have to try your baking time, b/c the 5 min thing dont work. How is the lense of the light? One i tried had spider cracks all over it.
Looks good, makes me want to get mine done now. lol

I do the first one (driver) for 7 mins and nothing happen so I double it with 15 mins and it come out easy. The second one (passenger) after bake with 15 mins, it took me no more than 5 mins to separate them apart. Just don't force it and you may need two flat blade plus the cutting knife to cut off the glue along the way when you pry it.
It's about time....
lol
If I could do mine all over I'd probably do the same setup, the quad mini-H1's. Best bang for the buck and pretty easy to fit in most headlight applications. Those weren't even an option a couple of years ago when I did my TSX's, though. The TSX's still kick ass, anyway, but I'd like to have the bi-xenon option.
Looks like some great output. Kind of surprised at how little foreground lighting there is, but that's partly due to the height of the trucks and the design of the projectors. Hard to get around that gap in light between your bumper and where the light hits the ground.
If you can, I'd love to see the output against a wall from about 50 feet or more. Gives a better idea of cutoff, width, and hotspots or uniformity in the lights.

Did he use a stock set of headlights from his Tahoe to retrofit them with the projectors?
Thank you
I would like to know if he does these on the side for other members, and if so how much it would cost.
Thanks

I ended up using a combo of an aftermarket housing and plumbing parts for mine. Looks pretty nice, though. Light could be better...my fault for giving up on larger and harder to retro projectors. I think I could duplicate this mod now that I know what/how to do it with Blazers pretty easily. Huge thread on my process, start at about page 11 where I basically started all over from scratch and read from there. It may at the least give you some ideas, but I tell you what, a walk through Lowe's or Home Depot with your projectors in hand might just open your eyes to possibilities....lol.
