How much space tween the edge of the tire and the back/front liners at full lock?

Thanks Serge. I'm not sure i'll have to measure that tomorrow but I did reverse into my spot and didn't rub so that was a good sign. The avy's nitto terra grapplers with the 305/50/20's did though :(

Oh I definitely will tomorrow. It looks ten times better with some aggressive/wider tires. I just didn't take a pic bc truck looks like shit after a 1200 mile road trip and no car wash.

From your sig looks like you put the Esky rims on the Avy. I guess that was by mistake. lol

I am curious on how the 420's will do in the snow. I can say mine werent the greatest when we had abou 2-3 inches a few weeks back. But that could be because of the small side walls as well.

The Esky is lookin' mighty fine ;)

Thanks Jason. I technically have less sidewall going from the 285/45 to the 305/40 but it's just as smooth of a ride thankfully :Handshake:

Well it's dumping snow supposedly going to be at least 3-8" of snow so can't wash the car today... I can still take a pic if you REALLY want to see it but don't know how good of a pic it'll be since the truck is covered in snow right now lol

I got the idea from the search feature on this site looking up "biggest tire size on stock height LTZ 20's" and saw how bad ass the terra grapplers looked on the LTZ 20's. I also wanted to get 305/55/20 but everyone says they rub at stock height so to be safe I went with the 305/50/20 which btw STILL rubs at full lock when reversing into a spot.

LOL yea... MY mistake bc I typed it wrong in my sig... Jacob notified me of that so it's been fixed...

I too am curious as to how the 420's do in the snow... i'll let you know once I get some time behind the wheel with snow... I'm hoping yours weren't great due to your 26" rim size... hopefully the 22" version of the tire will do better...

I go snowboarding twice a year and make the drive from Louisiana either to Colorado or New Mexico so that's the only time I ever have to drive in the snow. This will be my first winter as a resident dealing with daily snow

Not much has been done to the Esky but today I finally installed the factory GM chrome tip on the stock 6.2L. I would've done the SLP tips but I personally don't want it any louder and to do the SLP/Volant tips, they cut off the resonator :/

Thursday I get 5% around the whole car. Legal limit in colorado is 27% in the front but I'm taking the risk because I am tired of having so much sun light come in!! I currently have stock tint on the rear windows and 35% tint on the front. So when I go Thursday I will get the front ones ripped off and get 5% put on whereas the rear will get 15% tint (the person said that with the factory tint already on it, it will be at about 5% tint). Can't WAIT to get it done especially after seeing all the rides on TYF with blacked out windows. I will post pics as soon as I get it done.

Here are a few different angles of the new tip on there. I wanted to post this up so people who didn't want to get rid of the factory exhaust but wanted a bit of chrome on it would see what it would look like.

so you went from selling it to keeping it and modding it?

did you buy it new felix? I want an esky so bad but way beyond my budget :(

I never planned on selling the Esky. I think you must be thinking about my avy I'm looking to sell. It's on CL right now and when I sell it I plan on replacing it with an NNBS Tahoe/Yukon.

No I bought it used in mint condish and it only had one previous owner :)

Didn't keep the Avy very long but I'm glad you're staying in the "family" :)

yea I just really don't need a truck bed. Everything I have for work could stay in the cargo area of a Tahoe... I really miss having a Tahoe to mod too :)

interesting...the title of the thread led me to believe you were selling both....good luck...I love both trucks!

(always had a soft spot for avys but no need for a bed either)
