Hi All,

I am planning on getting Esky-like tail lights.. I found these on eBay, since the originals are not an easy fix...

I want to see how they light up on idle, with brake on and different night/day shots....

just wondering if anyone has them with pics? (on a Yukon)

they look good... why not email the company and ask them to cut you a deal in turn for some detailed daytime/nighttime photos and a quick "install" writeup? :)

Just do a search for G3 or G4 LED tail lights, and you'll see a million threads here with all the shots you're looking for.

All three rows light all the time. They just light up brighter (very bright) when braking.

Mine are off my Tahoe at the moment because my fast-blink issue came back and stayed. Really need to see if I can install those resistors soon and get it figured out...

I've got my eye on these lights myself. I've seen them on other rigs and they definitely look nice and clean! I like 'em a lot!!! :D

Dan -- I know NOTHING about electrical crap (except to know that I shouldn't mess with it, 'cause I'll probably screw up it or myself in the process). So, maybe I could take you up on that offer sometime. We could meet on the NE Extension somewhere, if that'd be cool with you. I know it's a 20-second operation, but I just haven't been willing to mess with it just yet.

I have the 6-ohm resistors sitting in my garage, ready to go...

Thanks for the offer!

I run these Tailights, they was plug n play. no resistor needed as its built in.

The reverse light section doesnt have that red divider, which IMO makes my reverse lights brighter.

I run 60-60 led SMT Stealth Ultimate Switchback Bulbs as both my turn and reverse lights in the clear section.

With the top two red sections wired to work at same time for brake.

They Look AWSOME! and are Very Bright!

@KMel- you're messing with your cars suspension and have a thorough knowledge of cars in general... I have faith in you that you can cut out the original (black box) resistor and splice the 6 ohm gold ones in place!!! haha j/k j/k

Your LTZ came with that bumper??? I was under the impression that the LTZ Tahoe's didn't start coming with that bumper until 2010...

Those look great. Recon makes some of the best though, in terms of looks and quality

thanks felixguns for the pics...

i notice that its 3 columns light up all at once, not like the esky that only the outer column lights up (without brakelights)...

anyone know the closest match to the esky?

plus i see everyone who has Tahoes changing their tails.. not many yukons!

no prob man anytime. this G4/G3 LED tail -is- the closest match to the esky tail light without doing the actual esky tail light swap.

really? I see yukons on here all the time swap the tails...

Felix -- I know, I know. It's sad, but I just resist (no pun intended -- well, maybe a little) working with electricity. It's just something that I'm more than willing to leave to people who already know much more about it than I do.

Oh, and no, Chevy started using that bumper/chrome strip on the '09 models. At least that's my understanding, 'cause my truck came with it. Either I got lucky, or they all came that way. I'm going with the latter.

kal -- Felix is right. These ARE the closest match to Esky lights. No on makes lights that light up exactly as the Esky ones. These are the next best thing.
