Hey everyone, I'm looking to upgrade my factory headlights. Mine are very scratched and foggy looking. I'm on a budget and would like to hear what yall have to say about these ebay projector halo lights. It says they come with new bulbs but I would like to order a new set of HIDs for them. Has anyone ran these ebay housings before with a 35 watt hid? I don't want to melt the housing!

Thanks!!

H1 bulbs are a fog light bulb. So think about that.

Well crap, guess it wouldn't be worth it then. And I'm not looking to spend a few hundred on recons or anything. Are there any other options you know of? Or should I just buy new oem housings?

Just buy new oem housings and put Sylvania silverstars in them. If your not gonna do a retro with projectors, then don't waste your money.

See if a detail shop can fix the ones you have first. Might be able to for cheaper. Is that possible brent?

Phil is right with that. But with what he has now it can be fixed the scratching with wet sanding but the Fog in it means it has a leak somewhere in it. So be better with new.

I tried to restore them and even hit them with my buffer. It helped a lot. They are still useable but I was still wanting to change the look up a little. Have yall ever seen a oem smoked headlight housing? Can't seem to find one. Everything comes up as a projector.

I'll have a set of OEM '13 headlights for sale in about 2 weeks if you need them. They are in excellent condition.

Thanks, I'll have to look into that. One of my ddm headlights is out so I gotta get that taken care of first. So I guess I'll pass on the ebay kit. I really wanted to try it out but I don't want to waste $200 if the light output is that bad.
