I need to jack up my 22’ Denali and the strange round “socket” shaped rear jack point is way small and awkward to get my floor jack any purchase. Is there an aftermarket tip or pad that is made to interface into that area? TIA!

The factory rear location is set up to only safely take a bottle jack.

I have been using a floor jack under where the rear shock is bolted to the lower control arm.

I have the same question what locations are safe to use with a floor jack? I need to be able to do tire rotation on my 2023. User Manual does specify that only bottle jack locations are acceptable but they will not work for doing rotations as I will need to use jack stands. Appreciate pictures from the folks who did that. I know I can ask dealers to do that but last time they did the tire rotation they overtightened one wheel so much that none of my heavy-duty electrical drivers could get nuts off, I had to drive to a shop with a pneumatic wrench.

Did you ever figure this out? I’m in the same boat right now.

Yep. Not really any good places that won’t mess up the coating.

I think I may have found a solution that could work. This 911 Motorsports kit converts floor jacks to a 1.5" pin system, and it includes a 6" extension with a 3" round saddle.

If the 3" saddle fits the OEM jack points (I haven’t measured yet), do you guys think this setup would be strong and stable enough to use safely?

I’ve been using floor jack on the frame and just leave enough room ahead of or behind the floor jack for jack stands. I had it resting on 4 stands months ago during my brake job.

It wont unfortunately...the biggest diameter that will fit is about 2 inches...GM made this a royal pain in the rear end...quick edit I meant that the rear jack points wont accept anything other than something around 2" in diameter...surprised there arent any adapters like you see for the corvette and other gm electric vehicles

On my '12, I use a plumbing pipe fitting seated on the jack pad....think it's a 1" x 2" bell reducer......works just right !

anywhere under the frame or a crossmember, jeez it's not that critical, if your worried about scratching something use a piece of wood
in regards to natural selection, if it is AWD it can or will roll away on you if either the front or rear wheels are lifted off of the ground.
that may have changed for the T2's but not for the previous generations.

So at the risk of sounding argumentative, is it that critical. This is a nearly 6000 pound vehicle and I wouldnt want that landing on me. The owners manual doesnt give any guidance on where to place jack stands (Which I have never seen until owning this vehicle, every other vehicle manual has given guidance) it is like GM believed that only soccer moms and dads would buy this vehicle and never do any work on their own...if anyone has any pictures of where to properly support the 21+ yukon with jack stands it would be greatly appreciated...personally at this point only spiral jacks seem to be a safe bet otherwise

I didn't take notice when I had my wheels & tires replaced, but where are the large rubber vehicle hoist pads placed at tire shops and the dealer? Hopefully they are using an appropriate method.

Just to follow up on this GM tech support did reply back to an inquiry, she said that jack stands either on the jack point or on the frame is acceptable bit no where else...thankfully the frame isnt hard to find lol...best thing is to use a bottle jack and then use jack stands on the frame I will try to post pictures next time I change my tires
