It's not a cover. It's a 14 gallon fresh water tank that fits in the spare tire hole. It uses the factory tire winch to hold it in place. The pump is to pressurize the hot water heater for the shower.

Fluid film with a misting crevice tool is the way to go. Or Tranny fluid works as well. I don’t think fluid film smells as bad.
You have a link to that cover? I missed what that pump is for.

Today was a productive day on my end.

Upgraded the oil cooler to one with better indication for how full it is.

Changed the upper heater core hose couplers from plastic to aluminum.

Installed a second battery disconnecto switch with a volt meter so I can choose when the battery is linked with the original battery.

Installed new HD serpentine belt, the old one was done. Squeked and had deep grooves.

Finally added an airaid intake tube, mostly for the added sound, its about half as loud as an open cone air intake. Sounds great actually when you get past 3000rpm.

Lastly, 2 remotes off amazon for 34$ and 2 keys for 14$, cut at a local ACE hardware for 5$ all in 52$ for 2 full additional working sets. Car only came with one set. Programmed at home and it was super easy.

Ohhhh…good grief! I wondered what you guys were talking about a couple days ago. I was so damn lost. Ha! Thank you for clearing that up.

Looks sexy dropped like that! Are those adjustable trail arms?

You can tell how full the Oil cooler is? You’ll have to show me that one. Or did you mean catch can.

Which brand did you go with? I just ordered a set. Did you get both the Tee fittings and the couplers?

Do you have a link or p/n for this belt? Have you used them in the past? Do they make a/c belts?

Did you go with the 2015+ remote or the standard fobs? I have a set that I need to swap over to my ‘13, because it only came with one set. I can’t remember if my Autel will program them or not. Worst case the tech2 will do the trick.

Took the rear appliqué off in attempt to fix the backup camera. It works part time, and looks like Tron from the 80’s the other half.
As to why they don’t make those easier to remove is beyond me, because that removal is just stupid. The fact that you have to replace the entire appliqué instead of changing out the camera is ridiculous as well.

How much was that AirRaid? I keep going back and forth about installing an aftermarket tube, or sticking with my homemade setup. (Stock air box & accordion tube, but large aluminum tubing to the throttle body, wrapped in heat_reflecting tape (Amazon special)).

Did you already source a backup camera?
I notice some aftermarket replacements are 150 degrees or 170 degrees.
I'm hoping there's a slightly wider camera that will see the corners of the bumper better, but I'm not sure what the factory angle is. (probably 170 deg)

Weird, I just ordered a new backup camera about an hour ago... I have one that's part of a license plate frame, but I don't like how it looks. Trying the Jensen BUCAM200J. My current one and this one are both 170 deg.

That'd screw up the accuracy of the guide lines.
I don't have grid lines! But if I did, I wouldn't want them screwed up.. Thing is, the back corners are where I hit things!

Too much fisheye you mean? Are you able to see bumper corners? Factory stops short of the corners...

My doors won't open... Not sure why.
Ont thing I hate about this platform is how easily these doors freeze up and stick shut. You feel like the handle will break trying to open it. I try to get both hands fingers in the top lip of the door to pry it open and trying to open the handle at the same time. Then you hope and pray the door lock doesn’t stay frozen in the open position after you open it. Never had this problem on any other vehicle I owned.

Sometime it helps to wipe the door seals down with a towel before parking it overnight.

A big thing is having the remote start now I can try to thaw them out before hand. Makes a big difference.

O also hate having a frozen driver window. In this weather I try to leave some slack in it so I can wiggle it loose and break the ice seal instead of it being jammed up tight against the window channel seal.

Worst part is not being able to run it through the wash to get the damn road salt and grime off because you afraid it will freeze everything shit when you go to park it for the night.

I just mean I don’t like how the camera itself looks with the bulky frame. Can’t see corners
